Dr. Reyna, has served in various leadership roles and has often been seen as the “under-dog” in spaces where he is not well represented, yet, he has secured and managed millions of dollars in federal, private, state, and local funding for educational and professional organizations. Dr. Reyna is often sought after by his peers for guidance and advice as it relates to project management, equity, and professional development. The intersection of his most salient identities have become essential in informing his approach to his work and life. He defied all odds and has experienced significant success in academia, his professional career, and in life. He is a proud and humble husband, father, son, brother, and amigo. He earned his Bachelor's degree in History from the California State University of San Marcos (CSUSM), a Master's degree in Higher Education Administration from National University (NU), and a Doctoral degree in Education from San Diego State University (SDSU).
